NZSO double bass player Malcolm Struthers ‘high fives’ kids from Worser Bay School.

The smiles and the high fives say it all. An enthusiastic audience of 1800 school children were bussed into Michael Fowler Centre to hear New Zealand Symphony Orchestra musicians perform. It was part of Education Minister Erica Stanford’s announcement that musical instruments would be funded for primacy schools and kura.
