Richie and Gemma McCaw announce birth of third baby girl

The McCaw family has announced the birth of their third daughter, Ella Mae McCaw.

Richie and Gemma McCaw have announced the birth of their third child.

Ella Mae McCaw was born on April 3, the sporting couple announced on Instagram on Saturday.

Accompanying the announcement was a photo the former All Black captain holding the new arrival, dressed in cream-coloured knitwear.

Baby Ella joins sisters Charlotte and Grace, born in 2018 and 2021 respectively.

“We are enjoying these precious moments as a family of five,” the couple said.

Richie and Gemma (née Flynn), a three time field hockey Olympian and former player for the Black Sticks, said they “couldn’t be happier” when they announced their pregnancy in September 2022.
