Californian ska-punk rockers Sublime with Rome have confirmed they will be at New Plymouth’s Rock the Bowl music festival this summer.

But the “huge” rock headliner is still to be announced.

Sublime with Rome postponed their tour of New Zealand last year and were replaced by Katchafire at the Bowl of Brooklands gig.

The US band pulled out just days before the Rock the Bowl event, which was one of seven shows they were to play in New Zealand.

But they will be at this year’s festival on Sunday, December 29, along with Pendulum, Home Brew, Ladyhawke and Elemeno P, as well as a “rock headliner” yet to be announced.

This summer’s tour is billed as the band’s “last” together.

After their appearance at the Bowl, Sublime with Rome will play at Coroglen on December 30, Brewtown in Upper Hutt on December 31, Black Barn in Havelock North on January 2, and then Park Arena at Mt Maunganui on January 3.
