Two cars collide on State Highway 6

A car has blocked the middle of a state highway after two cars collided near Blenheim.

The crash happened at the intersection of State Highway 6 and Rapaura Rd about 7.30am on Wednesday.

A police spokeswoman said no-one was injured in the crash.

Fire and police attended the scene, but ambulance was not required, the spokeswoman said.

The highway was closed to one lane but reopened at 9.30am, she said.
