A New World supermarket is among the locations in Christchurch to be linked to the Delta outbreak on the Ministry of Health’s list.

The New World in Bishopdale was visited by a Covid case on October 25, between 11.30am and 12.30pm.

Other locations added on Thursday evening are New World Eastridge in Mission Bay, Auckland, and West Liquor in Swanson, West Auckland.

Earlier, a raft of dairies, takeaways and other businesses were added as new locations of interest in Christchurch.

The Mad Dairy in Hornby, Christchurch, was visited by a Covid case on October 18, between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.

Hornby Chinese Takeaways, Waimari Takeaway in Bryndwr, Z petrol station on Curletts Rd in Sockburn and Gloucester & Stanmore Corner Dairy in Linwood were visited by Covid cases between October 18 and October 23.

Anyone who visited these sites at the dates and times specified on the MoH’s locations webpage is asked to self monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 14 days and get tested is symptoms arise.

The Northern Busway is one of Auckland’s busiest bus routes, funnelling commuters into the city centre.

Other Christchurch locations added include Ken’s Takeaways in Bishopdale, Burger King in Sockburn, The Mad Dairy in Hornby, Kim’s Corner Dairy in Bryndwr, Supervalue Fendalton Village in Bryndwr, Try’s Bakery in Islington, Pannell Discounter in Wainoni and a Caltex petrol station in Riccarton.

Supervalue in Fendalton Village, Christchurch, is now a location of interest linked to the Delta outbreak.

Two new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Christchurch on Thursday, but the government announced the city will remain in alert level 2.

The most recent Auckland locations to added to list, after 4pm, include multiple Auckland bus and train routes.

Limits on food items at Pak ‘n Save means people are making multiple trips or going to other supermarkets to top up their groceries.

A North Shore bus route travelling between Constellation Station and Smales Farm has been listed six times on dates between October 16 and October 18.

Anyone who has been on the bus at the specified dates and times are asked to stay at home immediately and get tested for Covid-19.

They are asked to continue to stay home until a negative test result is returned, and also to isolate for another 24 hrs until symptoms disappear.

Other public transport routes added include the southern train line, the eastern train line and route 361 bus from Westfield Manuaku to Ōtara.

Other Auckland businesses linked to the outbreak on Thursday include Pak’nSave Māngere, West Liquor Westside in Henderson, Hepburn Suprette in Glendene, Manhattan Superette in Glendene and West Liquor in Glendene.

Unichem Te Awamutu on October 21, between 10.45am and 11.35am, has been added as a location as the cluster in the small Waikato town continues to grow.

The ministry has also asked that commuters on several Auckland buses immediately self-isolate, test, and then test again after five days, only ending isolation if that second test is negative.

A supermarket in Hamilton was named as a location of interest in the Covid-19 Delta outbreak on Thursday morning.

Hamilton’s Clarence St branch of Pak’nSave has been added to the list after it was visited by a case on October 21 between 9.30am and 11.30am.

Everyone who visited these locations during these times are encouraged to self-monitor for symptoms over the next 14 days and get tested if symptoms show.

Alert level 3 restrictions have eased in Waikato from today, after the Government announced residents would be able to meet people outside their bubble and some childcare would further reopen.

“It is the same step down period we already have operating in Auckland,” said Minister Chris Hipkins.

However, the region will remain under alert level 3 restrictions until Monday.

This list can be viewed in two ways: Date of visit (locations added today have the word NEW beside them) or, if you switch the toggle to Date included, newly added locations appear at the top of the list.
