Motorcyclist dead after crash in Hamilton

The intersection had been cordoned off while emergency services attended, but it is now reopened.

A person has died in a motorbike crash in Hamilton.

Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Broadley Downs and Gordonton Rd, Gordonton at around 9.20am on Saturday.

The rider died at the scene, a police statement said.

A person died when their motorbike crashed in Gordonton on Saturday morning.

The road has now reopened.
