Woman dies after bike incident near Cambridge

A woman has died following a mountain biking accident in Maungatautari near Cambridge.

The incident occurred on Luck at Last Rd shortly before 9am on Monday.

She was airlifted to hospital where she later died.

The death over Labour Weekend brings the total number of lives lost on New Zealand’s roads over the long weekend to seven.
