Two players from Taranaki and Southland win $500,000 with Lotto

Two players have scooped half-a-million dollars each after winning Lotto First Division on Saturday.

The winning tickets were sold on MyLotto to players from Taranaki and Southland.

Powerball was not struck and has rolled over to Wednesday night where the jackpot will be $8 million.

Meanwhile a ticket sold at New Plymouth's Whitcoulls store was one of 15 to win $14,896 in second division in the draw. 

Strike Four was also struck on Saturday with a player from Upper Hutt taking home $500,000. The winning ticket was sold at Trentham Mini Mart in Upper Hutt.

And fifteen players won Lotto Second Division, each scoring $14,896.

One player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $28,576. The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at Rongotea Food Square in Rongotea.

Anyone who bought their tickets from the above winning stores should write their name on the back of their ticket and check it immediately in-store at any Lotto shop, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
