Mount Maunganui Lotto player wins $1 million

The winning ticket was sold at Bayfair Lotto in Mount Maunganui.

One lucky punter is $1 million richer after striking lucky in Lotto.

The ticket holder has taken away Saturday night's First Division prize after purchasing the lucky slip from Bayfair Lotto in Mount Maunganui.

Powerball was not struck and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $6 million.

Strike Four also rolled over and will be $200,000 on Wednesday.

Anyone who bought their ticket from the Mount Maunganui store should write their name on the back of it and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
