Everybody's talking about electric cars. But it's such new technology that many of us are still struggling with the basics.
In the video above, Josep Bonos, head of electric development at Spanish brand Seat, covers the commonly asked questions about electric vehicles (EVs).
The reference point is Seat models of course, but the questions are relevant to all EVs.
What kinds of EVs are there? What range can you expect from a modern EV? Are EVs truly zero emissions vehicles?

And yes, Seat is planning to bring EVs to New Zealand. Its El-Born small car (featured in the video), based on the ID.3 from parent company Volkswagen, should be here in 2021.
The Minimo, also featured in the video, is probably too small for Kiwi tastes. But the plug-in version of the Tarraco seven-seat SUV is a possibility for the future.
