How much for petrol? Depends where in New Zealand you are

If you travelled the length of NZ today, you'd find petrol prices vary by almost 40 cents a litre.
Rising petrol margins are costing Kiwi motorists hundreds of millions of dollars a year, an official report claims, and a further probe into whether the retail market is competitive looks likely.
One of the main bugbears of Energy Minister Megan Woods appeared to be the way prices can vary, sometimes even within the same city.
That didn't just include well known areas with high prices including Wellington and the South Island, she said.

'But also across Auckland, different suburbs you might be paying a different price, depending where you have the bad luck for you to hit the red light on your car and have to fill up,' she said on the AM Show.
A quick check of the price of a litre of unleaded 91 by Stuff on Wednesday found they varied considerably around the country.
