All Auckland train lines are back up and running following two faults that caused delays and cancellations for public transport users on Thursday morning.

Trains on Auckland's Onehunga line had resumed running to schedule by 10.20am after services had earlier been cancelled.

Auckland Transport spokesman Mark Hannan said the problem had been caused by a signal fault.
