Two injured after crash in Auckland's Kawakawa Bay

Police, Fire and Emergency Services and St Johns Ambulance responded to a fatal crash in Kawakawa Bay on Saturday night.

There are road closures and cordons in place in Kawakawa Bay after two people were injured in a car crash earlier this evening.

Fire and Emergency Services advised the serious crash units are responding to the incident, with one seriously injured and the other less so.

In a statement, Police said they are responding to an incident on Clevedon-Kawakawa Road, Kawakawa Bay, but could not confirm the status of the victims.

There are diversions at the intersection of Kawakawa-Orere Road and Clevedon-Kawakawa Road, and where Turei Road intersects with Clevedon-Kawakawa Road.
