NZ Bus operates some of Auckland Transport's busiest services across the region, including on Dominion, Sandringham, Mt Eden and Manukau Rds.
Bus services run by other operators, ferries, school buses and trains would run as normal, an Auckland Transport spokesman said.
Auckland Transport was working with NZ Bus to minimise disruption, manager of bus services Darek Koper said.
'We understand that our customers will find this frustrating and apologise for the inconvenience.
'Drivers will return to work as soon as possible after the meeting.'
